Kalou Praises Eboue Apology

Saint Lumpard
By Boris Mellor March 22 2008
Avram Grant is trying to copy Ferguson by playing mind games before Grand Slam Sunday, except he is not very good at it. He is also hoping to shift the focus away from the obnoxious Ashley. However, according to one of his own players Eboue has already apologised to Terry. There have been no apologies from Terry for the fouls he committed when Arsenal beat Chelsea at the Grove.

Just to remind Grant, here is what Kalou was reported as saying after Arsenal's 2-1 victory:

Kalou revealed he spoke to his Ivorian compatriot Eboue after Arsenal's 1-0 victory at Emirates Stadium. He went on to praise the Gunners player for at least offering an apology.

Cultheroes

"I was saying to Eboue that it was a red card because he did it on purpose - but he denied that," said Kalou. "He said he tried to block the ball and it was not on purpose. He said sorry to John. He didn't mean to do it, but to apologise was a nice thing to do."

Anyway the mind games have Wenger really rattled, he has said he expects to win and he isn't even contemplating defeat. For once he thinks Grand Slam Sunday is a good idea, but it will still not settle anything whatever the results.

Wenger now has a complete squad apart from Rosicky, Diaby and Eduardo, so a lot to choose from. No doubt he will start with RvP and Ade, the only problem with that is that Robin is rather rusty, we will just have to hope he find his edge. Meanwhile we will also have to hope that Ade continues to prefer scoring in big games and derbies.

its so abvious eboue was just trying to block the ball. most of the movement came from terry. but try telling that to dixon.

grant showing how stupid he is. why couldn't a journo mention eboue's apology and show grant how dumb his comments are.
