You won’t see this in the press, there will be no shock headlines. No only the fearless AT reporter dared to print this extract from the Gallas diaries:* In his diary entry for 10 July Billy G breaks the shocking news that “ the holidays are over… The three weeks have flown by and it’s back to work now as my training starts with Arsenal on Wednesday. “

Does this mean the revolt reported by the press is over? It must be there is nobody left who Gallas actually knows, as Willy says:
“It’s an opportunity for me to meet the new arrivals, get to know them”.
But Willy will not just be a rank and filer, no that isn’t cockney rhyming slang, no he will be a leader, not any old leader but: “I’ll probably be an even more important leader in the Arsenal team in the 2007-2008 season. Now that Thierry Henry has left, I’m one of the most experienced players in the group along with Jens Lehmann.”So Willy will have a “big responsibility to guide the younger players and advise them on how to approach matches, handle fatigue and pressure” . So lets get behind Willy in this gargantuan task. How about some “you cant lick our Willy rosettes” to show we are right behind him.Nor does Billy G “forget that we’ve got a lot of sporting ambitions and that we’re going to do everything we can to win a title this season, either the Premier League, the Carling Cup, the FA Cup or the Champions League. I’m sure it’s going to be a big year for Arsenal!”
So Willies fabulous holiday on the Isle of Wight is now behind him and - “it gave me a chance to rest and recharge my batteries to the full. I’m back in England feeling rested and ready for the new season…”So ditch the Free Willy Campaign and start supporting him. * The words in quotes are taken from the William Gallas Official Web Site. The rest reflect the views of our reporter who in the great tradition of Her Majesty’s Press may spin them to mean anything they may choose.

i don't really blame the meida for writting fake stuff's and reporting it as gallas saying.i fear he might be off after all freddie left.not that i blame freddie when cesc was made assistant captain he knew he just didn't fit in anymore so in a way he did the honourable thing.i will watch gallas and see if he means what he says.

If he means what he says, like AJ said, then Gallas will surely gain our support. I'm still alittle iffy about his committment but I'll let his performances speak for themselves.

It wasnt fake, just spun, the same as this article, its what Gallas said with a little bit of spin.

He said most of it, but in a broader context and not so sensational. The original wasnt that bad - but its gone now
