Sturrock Hands Foreigners Trial
By Nicholas Rigg December 19 2005
Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock has revealed he will run his eye over several foreign trialists who will play in a game behind closed doors on Wednesday. The match, which Sturrock refuses to give details on, will also give some current players the chance to shine before the Preston match on Monday.

Owls boss Paul Sturrock has revealed the several foreign trialists will play in a behind-closed-doors game on Wednesday.

Wednesday are looking to add players to their squad in the new year in a bid to avoid relegation.

Sturrock said: ''We've got some new faces who are coming in to play and then flying back out again. It also gives me the opportunity to keep some of the squad topped up.''

Sturrock refused to comment on the game or the details of the trailists. He also refused to comment on speculation linking Wednesday with a move for SPL top scorer Kris Boyd.
