Kilmarnock have accepted a 'very good offer' from Wednesday for star striker Kris Boyd according to BBC Scotland. The 22-year old scored his 17th goal of the season at the weekend but is out of contract in the summer. Glasgow Rangers have also showed signs of interest in the striker.

Kilmarnock have accepted a 'very good offer' from Wednesday for star striker Kris Boyd according to BBC Scotland.

The 22-year-old striker netted his 17th goal of the season at the weekend and has also been attracting the attention of Rangers.

Kilmarnock manager Jim Jeffries said: ''We've had a very good offer from a Championship side, a big offer and the offer was accepted. I've never had an offer from Rangers. Maybe the chairman knows something I don't know but he keeps me up-to-date."

Boyd's contract runs out in the summer and Kilmarnock would rather cash in on the hitman rather than lose him for free at the end of the season.
