Danny Reet will stay at League Two side Bury for a further month after Owls boss Paul Sturrock agreed to an extension on his loan.
Reet has impressed the Gigg Lane faithful by scoring three goals during his stay. He scored a brace against Mansfield and scored the opener at the weekends game against Barnet.
Wednesday fans have called for Reet to be given his chance in the first team at Hillsborough after the distinct lack of goals in the team, but manager Paul Sturrock insists that he is a 'development' player who could prove influential for the Owls in a few months, or even years.
The 18-year-old will remain at Bury until January 3rd, but has a 24-hour recall clause in the contrct should Paul Sturrock face an injury crisis over the buy christmas period.
