
Peter Taylor's England Under-21 side will be coming to Hillsborough on Tuesday night for their final group game before the play-offs for next year's World Cup.
Ticket sales are going well with the Wednesday ticket office reporting that over 20,000 seats have already been snapped up, with three days still remaining. Thousands are also expected to be bought on the day.
England can no longer qualify directly to the World Cup after a dissapointing 2-1 defeat to Austria at Elland Road on Friday night, but are gurenteed a play-off position.
Poland will be the opposition on Tuesday night in a game where players will be desperate to prove themselves to the manager ahead of the vital play-off games for a place in the World Cup next year.
Coach Peter Taylor said: ''Fans planning on coming to the game should book their tickets as soon as possible and I hope they will really get behind the team.''
Tickets are priced £10 adults and £5 concessions for this rare occassion to see an England team play at Hillsborough. Fans are urged to buy their tickets in advance to avoid dissapointment, but they should be available on the turnstyles on the day.
