Bit of a rubbish picture but oh well...

Basically I'm the guy who set this site up, after noticing the MASSIVE club that is Sheffield Wednesday not having their own section of the network!

I'm doing a post grad Newspaper Journalism degree at Sheffield College, and am running this as a bit of a side project - hopefully using it as an example of my journalism work when it comes to finding a job! I'm hoping that someone else be giving me a hand on the site soon, so that I don't get weighed down with all the work I'm having to do.

I'm a season ticket holder in the south stand at Hillsborough, and have been for 7 years now (funnily enough since everything began to do downhill!). I also get to most away games cost and time permitting.

My favourite ever SWFC player probably has to be Chrissy Waddle - a true Wednesday legend. Although he was coming towards the end of his glittering career when I began to go regularly, the performances I saw both at Hillsborough and on the television were breathtaking, and one's that I tried to emulate on the playing fields!

My favourite ever game that I've attended simply has to be Cardiff 2005, and our promotion back to the Championship. A day I will never forget. Of course the F.A. Cup semi against the blunts at Wembley ranks up there, as does the Rumbelows Cup victory over Manchester United in 1991.

I hope you enjoy the site, and I'll hopefully be adding another publisher to this section in the near future, to add their own thoughts and opinions on the world of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.
