Nigel Pearson has left The FA to join Bryan Robson at W. B. A. Pearson will be the new assistant of the Premiership side. Pearson has coached all of the England youth teams and has been with the Lions for nearly 3 years.

In this time he has been involved in all the youth teams from the Under-16s to the Under-20s. Pearson stated in an interview:

"It was a very difficult decision to leave The FA, where I have had some wonderful years. Working with the best young players in the country has been a fantastic experience and a huge honour, and I have been lucky enough to work with some great people. However, joining West Brom was an opportunity that I could not refuse, and I am very excited about my new role."

Pearson has been wished well in his new role by no other than FA Director of Football Development Sir Trevor Brooking, who said this:

"Nigel made a huge contribution as a youth team coach and was well-liked and respected by everyone he worked with. He leaves The FA with our best wishes."

Pearson is no stranger to Robson, and was in the same role at Middlesbourgh for over 5 years under Robson. Good luck in the future to Nigel!
