Bees boss Paul Fairclough will recieve funds from Bees chairman Tonky Kleanthous to find a possible replacement ofr departed defender Chris Plummer.

With the departure of Plummer the Bees are left with just Ishmael Yakabu, Danny Maddix and Make shift centre-back Simon King available for the centre of defence.

With Maddix injured, and King not occupying his left-back postion the Bees have been left very short at the back. With the recent support shown by Mr Kleanthous we can expect an arrival very soon.

Speaking to www.barnetfc.com Tony said that "Paul Fairclough will be given all the support we can to help find a replacement".

And of Plummer the clubs PR consultant Dennis Signy said "He was a popular figure with the supporters - runner-up of the play of the year award - and a hugely consistent performer.
