According to the Derby Evening Telegraph:
"Mills left for a loan spell at League One outfit MK Dons until January.
And this deal was far from straightforward.
"Mills was in the offices at Pride Park ready to sign for Millwall on loan when the London club pulled out.
"Another loan deal was hurriedly set up for the defender to join MK Dons but the paperwork was lodged two minutes after the 5pm deadline."
Question is why did we pull out? Did we suddenly realise it was going to cost more than two pints of lager and packet of crisps?
Mo Ross, of course, ended up at Sheffield Wednesday while the other two were probably just imaginary transfer targets!
