Spurs and Celtic keen on samba star
By European Football
May 25 2006
Both Spurs and Celtic are said by Bordeaux chairman Jean-Louis Triaud, to be keen to bring Brazilian star Denilson, to their respective clubs.
Denilson is out of contract and with Bordeaux, unable or unwilling to meet his pay demands it looks certain that the winger will be leaving the French side.

Bordeaux finished an impressive second in Le Championnat and it was widely expected that the Brazilian would stay, however negotiations have broken down and the player is looking for a move.

Speaking to RMC Triaud confirmed that:

"Denilson is in contact with both Celtic and Tottenham."
