Manchester United Line up bid for Parma Star

Reports from Italy are suggesting that Manchester United are trying to lure Alberto Gilardino to the Premership. They join a list of clubs interested in the young star, including Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Reports from Italy are suggesting that Manchester United are trying to lure Alberto Gilardino to the Premership. They join a list of clubs interested in the young star, including Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Gilardino should of course been at Euro 2004, but was dropped by the coach, much to the dismay of the Italian Press (and myself for that matter).
They are being credited with a bid of 25 Million to take Gilardino to Old Trafford, there is also reported interest in Parma youngster Guiseppe Rossi. Parma are in serious financial trouble, so the bids will no doubt be looked at very seriously.
