The Beautiful game is currently running a poll to find out who YOU the fans believe should be in our Dream team of the season.

Last week the vote was to find out who was going to be our Goalkeeper of the year and the winner was Manchester United’s American international Tim Howard, with Shay Given of Newcastle United following in second place.

This week is your chance to vote from our list of names on the poll to fill the vacant right-back position within our Dream team.

The list:

Arsenal may only a couple of game away from securing the premiership title having gone 7 points clear of closest rivals Chelsea, but surely they couldn’t of done this without Lauren’s top rate performances.

Bolton have had a largely successful season this term and are only a point of securing their premiership status for another season and Nicky Hunt hasn’t let his team-mates down following his move from center-back to right-back.

Charlton have been pushing for a Champions league place all season and £1.6 million defender Luke Young has played his part.

Manchester United have slid from 1st to 3rd position of late and many people blame this on the gap left having had their star center-back Rio Ferdinand suspended for 8 months having missed a drug test and therefore Gary Neville has been left the job of bossing the backline in his absents.

Manchester City have failed to find their feet since they moved to The City Of Manchester Stadium and therefore find themselves involved in a relegation battle which has at times seen the back four pushed to their limits and Sun Jihai has become known for giving 100% effort in City’s battle cry.

Newcastle United have been looking for a new right-back recently but Aaron Hughes has shown he is capable of playing at the top level and earlier on in the season skippered his country Northern Ireland.

Chelsea paid £6 million for 19 year old Glen Johnson from West Ham and is being tipped to become England’s future right-back after a series of brilliant performances.

Well who thought we would see Dennis Irwin play in the premiership again after leaving Manchester United nearly two seasons ago? Well his back with Wolves and if it wasn’t for his experience his team would have been down by Christmas.

The other three right-backs on the poll are Leeds pair Danny Mills (out on loan) and Gary Kelly and to round things off Spurs vice-captain Stephen Carr.
