Administration: Something so many clubs are
entering these day- but how many of us actually realise what this involves? I
mean all I know about this state I've learned from Championship Manager;
Administrators are brought in, they control the revenue coming in and out of the
club and where it goes in order to help a club out of debt.
The True Meaning Of Administration- (I've done my homework...) Administration is something which provides a company, in this case a football club, with one last chance to get it self out of the mess it's in. And in order to go into this that club must prevent a realistic way of moving forward to a court. When/if the club is accepted and is allowed to go into "admin," then they will be provided with an administrator,. who which will run the club on behalf of all interested parties and will negotiate any settlements with creditors. If any bids are received for players, then theses people have he power to chose whether or not to accept the bid- whether or not it will help the sides on-pitch fortunes. This also gives the club a small period in which they are protected by any companies of which they owe money, while they look for that all important rescue package from a rich, money-wielding oil-tycoon. A downside of administration is that if the admins believe that the club does not have any realistic way of moving forward then it will be liquidated and will cease to exist. Other options in which they can take are to hand the company back to the previous board OR consider putting the club up for sale. So, administration... More pros than cons? No. I think that administration is not the way forward for in debt clubs. The reason being that the administrator's only concern is concluding that the club remains safe in the financial department and not helping with the club's survival on the league front. What do I know though? I just write about football.
