1. Thierry Henry- Currently enjoying the best part of his career, Thierry Henry is undoubtedly the best premiership player there is and one of the best players around in the world today. Arsenal are currently dominating at the top of the league, and this would not be the same if they didn't have Henry on their side. 2. Alan Shearer- Alan Shearer is still the best English striker there is, in my my eyes. The player may be nearing the end of his career and he may have already hung up his international boots, but this man is a Toon legend, and one f the finest players that you will ever see. 3. David Beckham- He might not be playing in the Premiership anymore, but this guy is still the England captain, and he's still as good as ever. He has scored some of the greatest goals ever, including his goal against The Real Wimbledon and his many free-kicks like the one that propelled us into the 2002 World Cup against Greece. 4. Paul Gascoigne- He's retired from English football now, but this man was definitely a legend. He felt so much passion for the game, as demonstrated in 'Gazza's magic touch' and in the tears that leaked from his eyes when the Three Lions heroes exited the Euro '96 tournament. 5. Stuart Pearce- This man was Nottingham Forest. The player was truly magnificent. This player could gain a massive roar from the Trent End just by touching the ball. Stuart Pearce was one of the greatest defenders ever, his no-nonsense attitude earning him the nickname 'psycho.' This man will never be forgotten. 6. Dwight Yorke- He's the father of Jordan's baby, or so I've been told, and he was half of one of the most prolific goal scoring partnerships ever hen paired with Andrew Cole. The reason that Cole's not included though, is that I generally think he's a poor player, and he was made to look good when being given easy chances and helped long by this Trindadian. 7. Eric Cantona- Now playing beach soccer, ha ha, this man was one of the best and most gifted players ever to walk out at old Trafford. Unfortunately the players career in England came to an abrupt end after he used a 'karate kick' on a racist fan. Oh well. It was good while it lated. 8. Peter Schmeichel- The greatest goalie ever, in my view, this guy looked massive between the sticks. This guy was behind the Manchester United squad that won the treble in 1999. Players of this position aren't normally recognised, but this player deserved to be an exeption. 9. Gianfranco Zola- A legend. Roman Abramovic was willing to buy a whole football club in order to keep this guy. He was a very skillful player and this man was Mr. Chelsea. He held the team together. He was brilliant. This guy will be remembered for years to come. ZOLA! ZOLA! 10. Roy Keane- A man with an Irish temper. Roy Keane fell out with his international manager and that effectively ended his Ireland career, but the golden boy still continues to put in passionate performances for the Red Devils week in, week out.
