| Chelsea will not be making a bid for England and Everton's Wayne Rooney. After the player emerged from this summer's European Championships as one of the top scorers and was undoubtedly our player of the competition- many rumours began floating around the media.
Its seems, though, that Everton manager David Moyes has priced him out of the market after he declared that they would be looking for in excess of 50 million pounds for the forward. Even we cannot afford him. Maurinho is quoted on TEAMtalk as saying: "I love him. His personality is amazing,'' declared Mourinho. "When a kid of 18 plays like he did, it is absolutely amazing. Hopefully, however, Jose has his eyes on many other quality players- but he will probably be looking to offload players sooner as he is not looking to have a squad size of the one that Ranieri was using. |
