By Dave Adamson May 7 2004
Again, The Third Dimension brings you the latest transfer dealings that have been happening today, and believe me, it hasn't been a quiet day!
Well then, today has been a busy day for transfer dealings.

To start with, Brian Laws the Scunthorpe United boss has agreed a new contract.

He told the club's official website: "I would like to confirm that after long talks with Steve Wharton that I will be here next season.

"He has made it quite clear what his plans are and that there will be money to boost the squad.

"I'm very proud of the fact that he has asked me to stay on and that the supporters have been fantastic since my return.

"I'm looking forward to and want to be part of taking the club forward."

Next up, York City player-manager Chris Brass has dismissed speculation that he has been linked with the vacant managerial position at first division Burnley.
Bass said that,

"I have still got a job to do here and would never walk out on this club until whatever circumstances take me away."

Next we have the news that Yeovil Town have completed the signing of Michael Rose, formerly a defender for Hereford United. Rose started his career as a trainee for Manchest United so it's understood he certainly has the skill. Hereford narrowly missed out on promotion to Division 3 this season. Division 3 beware!

Now its been announced that Swansea City have dismissed 2 players saying "their services will not be required next season."
The swans have ended the contracts of Karl Connolly and Leyton Maxwell.
The Swans will announce more hiring and firing news next week.

Brian Horton, manager of Macclesfield Town will discussing a new contract keeping him at the club on a permanant basis. These talks will take place within the next 2 weeks.

Finally, Kidderminster Harrier's boss, Jan Molby has announced that he has decided to hold talks with 15 players who are out of contract.

"We hope we will deal with the issue of players' contracts as soon as we can," he told the Express & Star.

He also said,

"But we also need to look at a lot of factors, including the available finance in the budget and our summer transfer targets in coming to our decision."

The Third Dimension will bring you future transfer news as soon as it comes through.
