Darlington Football club are set to lose their top goalscorer in the summer due to lack of funds. Swansea City made a bid in March and are expected to bid again in the summer.

Darlington Set To Lose Conlon

Barry Conlon, aged 25, is wanted by several clubs in the league, including Swansea City and manager David Hodgson has admitted that he expects his striker to leave.

The Quakers' are still in administration  and cannot afford to keep the 13-goal striker on the books.

A bid from Swansea for "Bazza" was rejected in March, but fresh bids are expected in the summer.

Speaking to the clubs official website, David Hodgson admitted:

''He has his pick of eight or nine clubs and, while I would like to keep him, we don't have the money to do it."
