Dear Readers:

We are truly sorry about the story titled "Humberside United - Hull City/Scunthorpe Merger Shock".

The story was given to me just last night, and I didn't think much of it.  Strange, yes, but it was just speculation - nothing was seriosuly going to happen, right? Yes, right!

It turns out that the story was published on www.nationwide3.co.uk as an APRIL FOOLS JOKE.  Unfortunately for this site, and those who read the story, we picked it up too late, and we were fooled ourselves.

Once again, we are sorry!
