Graham Rix Thanks 'Keeper Cox For Valuable Point

The U's held earned a point thanks to an outstanding performace from Cox, after Andy Woodman had to be ruled out by a back problem.

Rix said: "My boys put everything into it and I was delighted with them.

"Coxy was delighted originally to be on the bench, but when asked to step in he jumped at the chance and he did brilliantly."

Doncaster Rovers boss Dave Penney added: "We had more than enough chances to win the game, but their keeper has had a blinder and fair play to him."

He went on to say: "I lost count of the number of chances we made. We had a couple kicked off the line and should have got three points," the Rovers boss said of the 0-0 draw.

"We would have settled for a point before the game but we have played well away from home and are getting greedy.

"We like to pass it and get it wide, and we caused them numerous problems, but we have to be ruthless."
