Shilton Leaves Kiddy

The former Hartlepool United player has made 96 appearances during two and a half year's at Kidderminster but has been unable to make a break into the first team since Jan Molby's return to the club as manager in October 2003.

Molby told the club's official website: "Sam's done well here but, unfortunately for him, I think Sam's style of play is best suited to a 3-5-2 formation and that's not a favoured system of mine.

"With that in mind it was always going to be difficult for him to hold down a first team spot here.

"It was in Sam's best interests to continue his career elsewhere now, rather than wait until the summer 'rush'."
