A New Hope
By jazza August 7 2006
My column is back and hopefully better than ever. With a new name and lots more to talk about I hope you all will enjoy Jazza Man.

Well the new season has started and its great to see Saints top of the league just after two games, which brings all saints fans pleasure as we can sing "Were top of the league and your no" at Parkhead on Saturday. It was also good to see John Sutton now on 3 goals already which will bring great confidence to him to keep on scoring and hopefully a few against the old firm. I was a bit annoyed that I missed the unfurl of the flag but the goals soon made up for that.

Last season was tremendous and when the final whistle went against Dundee I almost started to cry due to immense pride and passion I was feeling. A party broke out on the streets of Paisley and it was the best experience I have ever felt as the last time we won the league I was only ten years of age. Pubs were full of Black & White and Paisley was a Black and White town once again.

I was unhappy to see Charlie Adam go back to Rangers but I'm glad he has found his place in the first team and I hope the best for him in the future as all he's done since he went back to Ibrox is praise us in the papers and I will be looking forward to the future Scotland squad when I see him and big Kirk singing the national anthem.

Well as it was the start of a new season I thought that I should promote my website the best I could, so I saved up the money and sponsored David Van Zanten's boots which I hope most of you seen in Saturdays programme against Motherwell. I've also started to write "Jazza Man" which the name came to me in the Jaybees after some Said to me "Jazza man, do you want a drink" and TL told me it would be a great name for a fanzine, anyway to the point I've started to write this, so I could show people my journalist skills and I hope to create some interest out of it.

SMTID only gets on average 66 hits a day which compared to other St. Mirren sites isn't that good, but hopefully we will grow as time passes by and I hope you will still be reading this time next year.

Over and Out.
