Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has cooled his interest in Ipswich defender Herman Hreidarsson for the time being.

The deal was suggested to be a done deal today , but Pompey have cooled there interest in the £1 million reported move for the defender.
Ipswich really need to sell and with Ambrose sold to Newcastle today ,Hreidarsson is next on the exit list , if Pompey do pull out of the deal - The Tractor Boys may be forced to sell of Matt Holland on a cut price deal.
A Pompey spokesman stated "I think he's one of a few players Harry is interested in and has been looking at. But we've never said that a deal has been agreed."
