Reports suggest C Palace manager Trevor Francis is being lined up to take over from Jean Tigana at Fulham , April Fools Day is not for another week yet is it.

Trevor Francis has quickly come out to refute stupid claims that he is to take charge of the ailing Premiership club.

Fulham owner Al Fayed is unhappy with boss Jean Tigana , and Tigana himself is very unhappy with the current climate around Fulham , without a ground since Al Fayed sold it and nothing on the horizon it was supposed to be a new era for the Cottagers when the tore Div One apart to claim a place in The Prem , but it's turned out to be a nightmare and this news does the locals no good.

Francis said to BBC Radio London ""I don't see that sort of story because I rarely see a newspaper."

"When my teams have played well I don't need to read that in a paper and equally when they've not I don't need a journalist to tell me that they've not."

"So I haven't seen those stories and even if I had they wouldn't concern me."
