Sean Bean

Internationally recognized as Boromir in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings, Yorkshire-born Sean Bean has been thrilling audiences since his early days onstage with the Glasgow Citizens Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. His roles have been as diverse as they are memorable: the British weapons expert Spence in Ronin; 006, the baddie who battled Brosnan in GoldenEye; Miller, the Irish terrorist who took on Harrison Ford in Patriot Games; Richard Sharpe, the heroic soldier who marched his way through France, Portugal and Spain in the 14-part series, Sharpe; and the rogue lover who more or less reduced the TV screen to a slow simmer in films such as A Woman's Guide to Adultery, Clarissa and Lady Chatterley.  Sean also played Sgt. Andy McNab in the film version of Bravo Two Zero, set in the Gulf War; Neil Byrne in the 4-part TV drama Extremely Dangerous; and nasty gangster Jason Locke in Granada Films' Essex Boys.

Paul Heaton

Having enjoyed success over the last 15 years with both The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, Paul Heaton has now decided to take a look at a solo career. His debut album "Fat Chance" is to be released under the name of "Biscuit Boy aka Crackerman" after Paul's own admission that he would be too embarrassed to see his own name on an album that failed miserably. But surely this album is not to be a failure, Heatons writing abilities cannot be questioned and history proves this, he has had a whole host of number one albums with the Beautiful South and surely this success will continue in his solo career.

Michael Palin

Michael Edward Palin was born on May 5, 1943, and again, two weeks later.  His father was an engineer, and his mother wasn't. He had a beautiful older sister, Angela. Signs of an ominous future came early, when he played Martha in a school production of "Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol" and fell off the stage.  In May 1969 he joined up with Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Graham Chapman, John Cleese and Terry Jones for the first series of Monty Python's Flying Circus. He has written, directed and starred in numerous successful films and television series, including the Monty Python films, Time Bandits, The Missionary, and an award-wining performance as the hapless Ken in A Fish Called Wanda.  Michael is president of Transport 2000 , an environmental lobby group aiming to improve transport in Great Britain. He has lent his time and name to The Michael Palin Centre, part of  The British Stammering Assoc. He is also a supporter of Oxfam and of course, Amnesty international.
