Delia Smith

Delia Smith is one of the world's best-loved cooks. She's been showing people how to cook through her books and television series for over 25 years. Her first cookery book, How to Cheat at Cooking, was published in 1973 and her many television series which followed have increased her popularity and provided inspiration to many cooks around the world. Delia has fingers in more than one of her perfectly baked pies. She's also a director of Norwich City Football Club, and even ordered soggy southern pies to be removed from the club menu after supporters claimed their half-time snack was the worst in the country.

Sir David Frost

Sir David Frost has been in the front line of televison news and entertainment for nearly 40 years. He began presenting TV programmes when he was still an undergraduate at Cambridge and has hosted top-rated shows on both sides of the Atlantic ever since.  That Was The Week That Was was a groundbreaking satirical programme which was screened by the BBC in 1962-63.  The Sunday morning tradition began in 1984 with the TV-am programme Frost on Sunday. The BBC Breakfast with Frost programme first went on air in January 1993 and has been making headlines ever since. It's Sir David's first regular weekly show for the corporation since That Was The Week That Was..  David Frost has written 15 books, produced eight films and has - over the years- received just about all the major TV awards there are both in the UK and the US as well as internationally.

Sophie Ellis Bextor

Sophie Ellis Bextor has been waiting patiently for her time. At just 22, she is a veteran in today's ever-changing music scene. It's five years since she started her career as a pop star. But it's only now in the summer of 2001 that Sophie Ellis Bextor is about to step into the limelight as a solo artist. She had some success with indie band theaudience, and charted No.1 with Spiller on the club anthem Groovejet (If This Ain't Love). The first three singles from her solo album Read My Lips have all made the top ten. She has recently been touring abroad, and a new single Music Gets The Best Of Me has just been released .
