Oz Clarke

Oz Clarke is one of the world's leading wine experts whose formidable knowledge is balanced by his no-nonsense approach. As well as his frequent TV appearances, Oz writes regularly in the press and has won all the major wine writing awards both in the UK and the USA, including the Glenfiddich, Andre Simon, Wine Guild, James Beard, Julia Child and Prix du Champagne Lanson awards. In 1999 he won the Lanson Special Millennium Award for his outstanding contribution to wine communication and education.

Kate Garraway

Kate Garraway presents on GMTV, appearing on the sofa and reading the news. She also presented her own travel strand, "Where on Earth?" and presented live from Cannes during the Film Festival. This follows on from a two year stint as the main anchor on Sky News’ prestigious prime time four hour breakfast show Sunrise. She has won acclaim for her coverage of the Kosovan Crisis, the Paddington Rail Disaster and the Turkish Earthquake Disaster.

Brian Moore R.I.P

ITV's long-running football commentator Brian Moore, who died recently, was privileged to be present at countless great soccer occasions during his thirty one year TV commentary career, notably at Wembley for many consecutive FA Cup finals. In that time he coined the oft-imitated commentary gems "It's a goal!", and "It's in there!", slogans to make even Kenneth Wolstenholme jealous. Moore's career spanned three decades after he joined London Weekend Television in 1967, and he retired at the end of the 1998 World Cup final in France. Sadly Moore died on Saturday September 1st 2001 and will be sadly missed by all.
