His poor touch and lazy stance really put the fans against him, and it wasn’t till almost 12 months later that we finally started to see what Mr Wilson saw in him.

His touch rediscovered and vision bettered by no one at the club, also the most powerful shot seen at S6 in years. Even with this rediscovered form he couldn’t stop the freefall to the Nationwide and it is now where he ply’s his trade that he really shows that he is a Premiership class player.

His most fruitful season was last year and his ability to score from anywhere was evident, from free kicks to tap ins he was turning into a fans favourite.

Passing 80 yards cross field with pin point accuracy is his speciality and that blinding power in his right boot will scare any keeper.

But this season his inconsistency has resurfaced, his passes have gone astray, the touch lost and the free kicks are less accurate than a alcoholic blind man at darts!!!

He is and will always be somewhat of an enigma, hated by some loved by the others but you can never rule out a goal from our Dutch maestro no matter what mood he is in.
