Sammy Sideways To Sidle Off Soon...

Like former Norwich player Craig Bellamy last time Coventry City were relegated, Sammy 'Sideways' Clingan looks set to be the first person to flee the Sky Blue sinking ship.

Despite a season where he was to positive football what 'Made In Chelsea', 'Geordie Shore' (And assorted other bags of garbage) are to quality TV, he reportedly asked the club for a pay rise in his next contract if he was to stay at the Ricoh - which was never going to happen anyway - and he should have been sold in January as we at least would have received buttons for a players that flatters to deceive more often than not.

Said player, who stated he would adopt a 'shoot on site' policy around November time, and who barely managed to even get a free kick over any defensive wall since making the comment, missed a penalty, and scored a pitiful two goals all season, making his total seven in one-hundred appearances (Including six as a substitute) for the club. He failed to find the target at all during the 2010/11 season.

The (Somehow) Irish international (Soon to be replaced for said side by the far better Oliver Norwood), will leave the club in a few weeks when his contract expires, during which time he will probably do as much to aid Coventry City's battle against relegation as he has managed all season.

So far Real Madrid and Barcelona haven't been in touch about the players' availability....
