Andrew Driver looks to have been all but priced out of a move to Coventry City, while Leeds United's Jermaine Beckford seems more likely to end up playing for Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United than Coventry City.
And, with the club refusing to be held to ransom over potential targets, academy players Ashley Cain, Jermaine Grandison, Adam Walker and Curtis Wynter have all been offered one-year professional contracts - though it has been suggested that said players are likely to be offered out on loan.
