Head-to-head, Recent Form, Team News, and the Latest Betting Odds, ahead of Coventry City's 'Cup Final' versus Chelsea!

Head-to-head: Coventry City have won 15 (All league), drawn 14 (All league), and lost 27 fixtures (25 in the league) played against Chelsea. The two sides have never met in an F.A. Cup fixture. Before losing in a League Cup match in the 2001/2 season, Coventry City were unbeaten in eight home fixtures against Chelsea, winning four and drawing four. Included in those victories was a superb 3-2 win in August 1997, where Dion Dublin scored a hat-trick.

Recent Matches: Our last season in the top flight saw a 6-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge, following a shameful dive from Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, which resulted in a sending off for a tearful Chris Kirkland (Who had already denied Chelsea an avalanche of goals in the opening 25 minutes!), and a penalty for Chelsea. Hasselbaink finished the match with four goals to his name, with Zola and Flo also getting on the scoresheet, and Roussel notching a consolation goal in the 89th minute for Coventry. The home fixture ended in a 0-0 draw. Two goals in four second half minutes saw them record a 2-0 victory over us at Highfield Road in the League Cup in 2001.

Recent Form: Guus Hiddink's arrival at Chelsea has resulted in four wins in four games, three of them ending 1-0 (Away against Aston Villa and Portsmouth, and at home to Juventus), the other a 2-1 victory (At home to Wigan). Chelsea's last defeat was away to Liverpool on February 1st (0-2), and they have also lost away at Manchester United in 2009 (0-3).

Chelsea In The Cups: In a bid to give those that fear a hammering for Coventry City some hope, here's a few of their recent hiccups: 03/01/2009 - Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Southend in the F.A. Cup, before winning the replay 4-1; 08/03/2008 - Lost 1-0 away to Championship side Barnsley in the F.A. Cup, going down to a 66th minute Odejayi goal; 31/10/2007 - Scored two late goals to defeat Leicester 4-3 in last seasons League Cup at Stamford Bridge; 10/01/2007 - Drew 1-1 away to Wycombe in the League Cup, before winning the replay 4-0; 26/10/2005 - Lost 5-4 to Charlton on penalties in the League Cup, after drawing 1-1 in normal time - Mourinho's first home defeat (Not that he saw it as one!).

Team News: Whether they choose to rest certain players for next weeks clash versus Juventus, or play their strongest team possible, whichever XI Chelsea opt to send out, the likelihood is that it will include eleven internationals! Latest Betting Odds: Coventry are 11/2 with Ladbrokes, and 6/1 with William Hill to win (And a best odds 13/2 with Skybet), while Chelsea are 4/9 and 8/15 respectively with the same companies (Best odds 4/7 with Bet365). Ladbrokes have the draw at 13/5 and William Hill at 11/4 (Best odds 11/4 with Bet365). Coventry to be winning at half-time, and Chelsea full-time, is 28/1 at Ladbrokes. Bet365 have Drogba 7/2, Anelka 4/1, Lampard 11/2, Di Santo 11/2, Kalou 6/1, Quaresma 15/2, and Malouda 15/2, as favourites to score before a Coventry player joins the betting, with Eastwood at 9/1. Cup-tied David Bell is 22/1. Coventry City are 22/1at Extrabet, and 21/1 with Betfair to reach the final. Coventry City are 89/1 at Befair, 91/1 at Betdaq, and 66/1 at Ladbrokes to win the final. No Coventry City player is currently in the running for the tournaments top scorer (According to oddschecker). Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka is favourite, at 11/10 with Betfair, and Michael Ballack second at 28/11.

Ticket News: Sold out!

Trivia: Former Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge favourite Mark Hughes proper first name is 'Leslie', not 'Mark'.
