Coventry City are back at their revamped, state-of-the-art training ground. Half-a-million pounds has been spent enlarging the gym, and extending the changing and physiotherapy rooms. The club hope the facilities will help attract a better class of player, though not being at the wrong end of the table is more likely to encourage the quality we need to join the club.
Coventry City have finally found outlets for selling matchday tickets in the town centre. Supporters will be able to buy tickets for both home and away fixtures from Coventry Transport Museum in Hales Street (Between 10am and 4.30pm, seven days a week), and the Tourist Information Centre inside the tower of St. Michael's Cathedral ruins (Between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday).
Marcus Hall, currently in his 14th year at the club, has been granted a testimonial. Having started as a YTS trainee in 1992, he is now in his second spell at the club, following a few years away re-gaining his fitness(!). With apathy always ruling amongst Coventry folk, it's to be hoped it's against top class opposition....
Obviously bored with working with Coventry City's hapless defenders and goal-shy forwards, Chris Coleman is set to take Coventry City Ladies for a training session.
Freddie Eastwood is battling knee and ankle injuries picked up against Southampton (And is also said to be 'keeping on top of tendinitis' according to Chris Coleman). Aron Gunnarsson suffered a dead-leg in the fixture against Wolves. Jay Tabb damaged a knee against Wolves. Can't some of our 'lesser players' pick up injuries instead.
Leon McKenzie recently claimed he is 'nearing the best form of his life'. Leon McKenzie recently claimed he 'will score goals'. Leon McKenzie is once again injured and expected to miss the next six to eight weeks of the season.
