News on those we've loaned out or got rid of! Including Kevin Kyle proving he does know where the net is (It's in Hartlepool, apparently); the return of Gary 'Superstar' Borrowdale; and Kevin Thornton's career being no further forward one division down.

Kevin Kyle has left the building, finally moving to Hartlepool on loan (Where he links up with Coventry old-boys Willie Boland and Aaron Lee-Barrett). Having continued his non-scoring record for the first three matches for HU, he finally grabbed not one but two goals in his new sides 5-3 win against Huddersfield.

Gary Borrowdale has returned to the club after his loan stint at Colchester, where he made five appearances in total (Two wins, three defeats), continuing his unimpressive record of never having scored a goal (OK, so his first job is defending, but no goals in 115 appearances, plus 30 as a substitute, is rubbish .... especially for a 'superstar').

Former Coventry City reserve Wayne Andrews has joined Luton on a short-term contract. The player who supposedly saved Mickey Adams skin, and was also said to be partly responsible for his down-fall(!), came on as a 24th minute substitute for his new team, but was unable to help them to their first win in six attempts (LT losing 2-1 at home to Accrington).

Once again it's reported that .... yawn! .... Sheffield United are interested in .... yawn! .... Michael Mifsud. For the love of Cliff Richard, sign him up, or so .... flip off.

And with an observation that will surely see him offered a part in one of the three Sherlock Holmes movies currently being made, Chris Birchall has stated that his Coventry City career is over. In other news, man has invented the wheel, and has also discovered fire.

Kevin Thornton earned rave reviews on his debut for Brighton, only to then be left on the substitutes bench for the next few fixtures! (In fact he was so good he even earned praise from Robbie Savage! The Champions League surely beckons?). More Mickey Adams mess-ups? Or is KT continuing .... better not, as I can't afford a law-suit.

Danny Ireland has cut short his loan spell at Nuneaton Boro to join up with the Australian U20 side.
