So we get to it at last, we preview the Imps, a review Bristol Rovers fans have been looking forward to after they spat out the dummy when I said they didn't have much of a chance. Well, where do I think City will finish? Good? bad? midtable? in Steve Evan's web of lies? only god knows.

Name Lincoln City

Location Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Manager Keith Alexander

Ground Name Sincil Bank

Capacity Varies dependant on source, can be anywhere between 10,000 and 11,000

Address Sincil Bank Stadium, Sincil Bank, Lincoln

Last Season Another year and another playoff campaign. City were absolutly dire for most of last season and the vast majority of games, we didn't play anything like we could have and at most, we only played well in 15 games at most. City's main problem last season was the inconsistency between results, up until Christmas, we were rubbish at home but near enough dominant away, however, after New Year, we only dropped 5 points at Sincil Bank but only picked up 4 away wins in the League.

Another major problem was that there only 2 games in the league last season where City went behind at some point in the game, at didn't lose. It was almost like they just gave up and "Team Lincoln" disappeared long before the season ended and most of the first team regulars left during the summer.

The game that most sums up our season last year was the Playoff Final, now I'm not going to talk crap, we dominated the 90 minutes, Southend barely got a look in and it was just ridiculous, the only time Southend looked dangerous was as soon as City made substitutions and that was City down to a tee last season.

This season? So where now, the massive clear out in the summer saw the departures of Futcher, Butcher, Gain, Hanlon, Yeo, GTF, Sandwith and seemingly the hopes of all City fans. However, City have made some very impressive signings including my personal favourte purchase of Dean Keates. City also have an impressive striker currently on trial and he should hopefully sign before long. City's season will depend on how well the new team gels but we all know how Keith is good at that. Also on a pleasing note, Oliver Ryan looks all set to be getting a first team place under his belt with an impressive pre-season which has seen a goal a game so far. City's pre-season currently stands at 5 wins from 5 games.

Prediction 4th, we all know City aint gonna get automatic but should push it all the way before eventually being pushed into the playoffs for the 4th year in a row. Will we win at the 4th attempt though?
