Former Lincoln striker, John Ward will again try to guide Cheltenham Town into a promotion chase but will they achieve it? After spending a few season's as a lot of people's dark horses, they been majoritively disappointing but that could all change soon but are they ready?

Last Season Cheltenham vs Lincoln games are never very exciting and last season was no exception. They really struggled in the first few months only won 2 of their games up until mid October. Cheltenham's season was defined by 1 word, inconsistant, just when they looked like they'd make a push for the playoffs, they'd go on a losing run and that ultimatly cost them and a run of 9 defeats in their last 14 games and ultimately finished 14th

This season? Cheltenham are one of the sides that a few people fancy to do well at the beginning of every season and seeing as they are managed by a former City cult hero, we hope they do well this season but a lot will depend on if they go on a decent run of games undefeated. They have probably the best deadball player in the division in Grant McCann and if he has a good season, Cheltenham will have a good season.

Prediction 11th, still not quite good enough for the playoffs but an improvement nevertheless.
