Ok, when you say to someone that you'll only lose 12 games this season, you'll be looking forward to promotion, not Rovers. Bristol Rovers lost only 12 games last season and still didn't even challenge for the playoffs and to be honest, I think they can only hope for midtable at best this season.

Name Bristol Rovers

Location Brstiol

Manager Ian Atkins

Ground Name Memorial Ground
Capacity 12
,000
Address Filton Avenue, Horfield, Bristol Rovers

Main Telephone No 0117-909-6648

Last Season It's amazing that a club can only lose 1 home game all season, and still not even come close to even the playoffs. Rover's only home defeat came against Scunthorpe United and what makes the general failure of a promotion challenge, even more surprising that they only lost 12 games all season, only Scunthorpe lost fewer games. Now, you're thinking, hold on, only losing 12 games would surely mean you're in the playoffs at least, WRONG. Granted, that would normally be the case, except they drew a massive 21 games last season. A 12th position finish was really more than they deserved as there were far better teams than them who finished below them.

This season? Bristol Rovers are one of those teams that everyone expects to be up there but I have never seen any reason why they should. They're a fairly overrated club in all senses, they don't have a squad to even challenge for promotion and only getting rid of Atkins will see them even tickle at the posility of a promotion chasing campaign. I have nothing personal against them at all but in my eyes, no chance at all of even a playoff challenge.

Prediction 17th. I seriously don't think they have the squad, tactics and the expectation of the fans of apparantly "the biggest club in the division" will prove their downfall and midtable as best is all they can hope for.
