You know in pirate movies where they're always searching for a land that's on no known map. I can just picture if now, Pirate of the Caribbean 5 : The Search for Bostonshire. Seriously though, Boston should be in for a good season, especially with all the impressive pre-season signings they've made.

Last Season Boston, to their credit, looked to be heading for at least a playoff place for half the season. They had the only unbeaten home record going into the new year but their away form was letting them down tremendously and undoubtly, would have gotten that playoff place if their travels were more fruitful. Thanks to striker Andy Kirk, Boston had been really pushing for promotion, but they, just as Lincoln were beating Grimsby 4-2, a foul on Lee Tumble, oh, I do apologise, Trundle gave Swansea a very late penalty to make them the first team to win at York Street last season. Their season soon pittered out and finished in a midtable position.

This season? Where do you start? Boston have made some very very impressive signings so far this summer, the capture of City's Ben Futcher was coupled with the captures of former Premiership strikers, Noel Whelan and Julian Joachim, potentially the best partnership in League 2 next season. Boston's season will depend on their away form, arguably no side is better at home than Boston, but few are worse away. Boston, on paper, are a team that should do very well and with the Whelan and Joachim partnership, could potentially end up in a playoff spot, or even automatic if they get lucky.

Prediction 5th. As I say, Boston are arguably, the best home team in the division but away form is patchy at best. If the Whelan and Joachim partnership pays off, a playoff campaign should be well within the Pilgrim's reach.
