City get Premier League opposition
By theimps.tk
November 29 2009
When City were drawn out, there were just five balls remaining, only two of which were Premiership, and City got one of them, and now the Imps will make the trip to Bolton's Reebok Stadium on January 2nd.

City's first appearance in the 3rd Round has been rewarded with an away game an Premier League Bolton. It will be the first meeting between the sides since they met in the 1993/4 FA Cup, Bolton winning 3-1.

There aren't many draws which stand out, infact, City's game against Bolton is currently the second biggest gap tie with 3 divisions seperating the sides (this will depend on replay results), York City's trip to Stoke will be the biggest difference as the teams are four divisions apart.

Chelsea yet again got a team from a lower division at home whereas Staines will be at home to Derby County if they get beyond Millwall.

Re: City get Premier League opposition
I dont know why Bolton fans moan about their team.

They are a League 1 club playing in the premiership in a good stadium.

They have a very poor away following around 250-500 (awful for the premiership)

I wanted a london based prem club away
