Connor coming?
By theimps.tk
July 8 2009
Lincoln City have taken Paul Connor on trial having appeared to have missed out on yet another striker. City have been priced out of a move for Rene Howe and have now taken on a striker who's best days were several years ago, but he has decent experience at this level.

Connor's first experience of League Two came when he joined Rochdale in the 2000/1 season, going on to score 29 goals in 94 League appearances for the Dale, helping them make the Playoffs a year after he joined, although being Rochdale, they naturally failed to go up.

Spells at Swansea and Orient also followed and although he gained promotion at both, he was never really prolific. This certainly continued at Cheltenham, scoring just seven goals in 79 League games.

He comes to Sincil Bank on trial and will be involved in Wednesday's friendly against Ferencvaros.

Re: Connor coming?
Get him fit we could a good player. Hoping to see big improvements when I go again in 3 weeks against Sheffield United.
Wonder if we'll have any signings tomorrow?
