Lincoln City will send a side to Brigg Town on Wednesday July 29th. A Lincoln City XI will travel to the Hawthornes ten days before the start of the new season in what is expected to be the penultimate friendly of the pre-season.

Brigg finished bottom of the Unibond Division One last season, accumulating just fourteen points from 38 games, a full 11 points behind Gresley Rovers. Even Lincoln United managed to finish far, far ahead of them. However, they have been freed from relegation due to the poor standard of the grounds that would have come up, meaning they will have Lincolnshire derbies against Lincoln United and Grantham Town

Despite the fixture being arranged on June 2nd, the Imps have yet to officially announce the game yet, although Brigg Town's website has revealed the XI will travel.
