Lincoln United will be the visitors to Sincil Bank during the annual Community Day. It is the first time in many many years that United will play a game at the home of Lincolnshire Football. City have won the last 5 friendly meetings between the sides and are undefeated against the Whites since the pre-season before 2002/3.
Lincoln United will be the visitors to Sincil Bank during the annual Community Day. It is the first time in many many years that United will play a game at the home of Lincolnshire Football. City have won the last 5 friendly meetings between the sides and are undefeated against the Whites since the pre-season before 2002/3.
City's annual "Community Day" has been a reasonable success in recent seasons. In the build up to 2005/6, Grimsby Town beat the Imps 1-0, whereas last year's event saw Watford claim a 2-1 win at Sincil Bank.
This year's Community Day will take place on Sunday July 20th and United will be hoping for their first win since July 2002 over the Imps. However, their work will be cut out for them after the Whites were relegated from the Unibond Premier Division last season.
