Stockport join Rochdale in the final
By Nathan Jackson May 17 2008
Stockport County will face Rochdale in the League Two Playoff Final after Liam Dickinson scored the only goal of the second leg within the first ten minutes. Wycombe had plenty of the ball but never really looked like scoring and this proved their downfall.

Dickinson scored early on thanks to a break away and that proved to be the only goal of the game. Torres, Knight, McGleish, Facey and Oakes all hit shots wide, but the men from Adams Park never really looked like getting back into the game.

It now means that there will be a north west derby in the final down at Wembley Stadium on May 26th. There has never been a specific local derby as a final in the Fourth Tier Playoffs, the closest we've come is Chesterfield vs Bury in 1995 or Huddersfield vs Mansfield in 2004.
