Reaction to Adie Moses' 2007/8
By Nathan Jackson May 11 2008
Adie Moses was another recently released by the Imps after many spells out injured. He was a decent defender but his total amount of minutes played is less than half of some of the rest of the defence. Moses was one of the few professionals at the club all season long to play less than 2000 minutes in an Imps shirt.

I personally think that Adie Moses is better than any other central defender currently at the club. He reads the game generally well and is easily more organised than Beevers, Brown, Hone and the various others that have played in that position during the 2007/8 season.

However, Moses' downfall will always be that it only seems to take a gust of wind to injure him. Over his 2 years at the club, he got injured more times that City drew games and this cost him a longer term deal at Sincil Bank. If he was less injury prone that I have no doubt that Jackson would have tried to keep him

Overall, I am a bit mixed about Moses getting released. His playing side of the game is absolutely fine, but we can't really afford to keep someone at the club who is only fit enough to play around half the games during the season.
