Bournemouth and Gillingham relegated
By Nathan Jackson May 3 2008
Bournemouth and Gillingham will be playing League Two football next season after a dramatic last day in League One. It now means that 19 of the 24 teams in League Two next season are confirmed, and 2008/9 will certainly be a season that will need a lot of petrol to be put into your car with only a small handful of local derbies.

Bournemouth and Gillingham both drew 1-1 against Carlisle and Leeds respectively. Both sides needed a win to have a chance of staying up, but Crewe are the survivors despite losing 4-1 on the final day of the season.

The League 2 Playoffs will certainly be interesting. Stockport will hope to repeat their 6-0 home win over Wycombe Wanderers when they meet again in the Playoffs. Rochdale face Darlington.

So, with Port Vale, Luton Town, Bournemouth and Gillingham coming down and Aldershot coming up, League 2 will look like this next season.
