Second semi's first leg ends all square
By Nathan Jackson May 2 2008
Cambridge United are arguably the favourites going into their second leg against Burton Albion after the sides drew in an exciting game at the Pirelli Stadium. City fans will be hoping that the winner of this tie will be promoted due to them both being within two hours drive, as opposed to the long haul trip to either Exeter City or Torquay United.

Burton Albion were 2-0 up at one point during the game thanks to a penalty from our old friend, Daryl Clare and a header from Darren Stride. However, two Lee McEvilly goals drew Cambridge United level and the U's will arguably go into their home leg on Tuesday night as the favourites to progress.

Burton are hoping for their first ever trip to the Football League, whereas Cambridge United are aiming for promotion after a 3 season absense. Cambridge were relegated in the 04/05 season when Steve Thompson replaced Herve Renard but couldn't stop the slide into the non-league.
