Forrester and Green complete City milestones
By Nathan Jackson April 28 2008
Jamie Forrester's appearance in the game against Morecambe now means he has completed 100 games for the club, 11 of those coming whilst on loan from Bristol Rovers. Paul Green also celebrated his 50th League game for the club with the winning goal at the Shrimps. Both players are currently tied as the most appearances holder for the 2007/8 season.

Forrester's debut for the club came in the 5-0 white-wash over Grimsby Town on March 25th 2006. It was one of the most impressive debuts for the club seen in recent times and he continued in the same form last season. He ended the 2006/7 as the club's top scorer and has a chance of doing so again on Saturday.

His 100 appearances from the club have seen 37 goals and 14 assists. Over the 100 games for the Imps, both on a permanent deal and on loan from Bristol Rovers have seen his goals win the Imps an impressive 20 points, half of those coming this season.

Paul Green's form this season sees him as many people's favourite to win the Player of the Season award. He made his debut for the Imps in last season's 1-0 win over Peterborough on January 27th 2007. 49 games later and he started his 50th league game for the Imps against Morecambe. He also scored his second goal for the club in that game.
