Wrexham relegated after Hereford defeat
By Nathan Jackson April 22 2008
Wrexham have been relegated from the Football League following a defeat on Tuesday night to Hereford United. The Bulls gave their automatic promotion push a boost with the 2-0 win. Wrexham will now head to Sincil Bank on the final day of the season for their final League game.

Wrexham travelled to Hereford United on Tuesday night knowing a defeat would relegate them. A 2-0 defeat later and Wrexham now have two games left of their 87 year stay in the Football League. Those two games are at home to Accrington Stanley before they come to Sincil Bank on the final game of the season.

Wrexham can still overtake Mansfield or Dagenham, but not both. That is because the Stags and Daggers play each other on the final day of the season and at least one of those teams are guaranteed to finish on more points than Wrexham.
