Ollie wastes no time in finding new club
By Nathan Jackson March 21 2008
Oliver Ryan has wasted no time in finding a new club. He has signed up to play for Hucknall Town for the remainder of the season despite being linked with Boston United. Ryan was released by the Imps on Thursday afternoon and automatically began to recieve offers including one from Boston United, his home town club.

Ollie was released yesterday following a stop-start career at Sincil Bank that failed to see him score a first team goal. It was widely believed he would join Boston United, but Tommy Taylor revealed that he couldn't sign the striker until next season, but it may well be the case that he might not get that chance.

Hucknall Town moved quickly to sign Ryan and he will link up with former City striker, Danny Bacon. They hope he can score the goals to fire them away from the relegation dog fight. Ironically his first game is likely to be tomorrow's game at Hinckley.

Hucknall are 19th in the League and a defeat to Hinckley will see the Leicestershire side leapfrog their opponents and force Ollie's new side into the drop zone.
