Midfielder : Dany N'Guessan
By Nathan Jackson
February 26 2008
Dany N'Guessan's signing causes many disagreements between Imps fans. He signed for City in January 2007 from Rangers after a spell with Boston United on loan. Since his signing he has continued to cause arguments as his performances have been very up and down to say the least.

Signed From : Rangers

Debut : Lincoln City 1 Peterborough United 0 - 27/1/2007

Dany N'Guessan was a player with a big reputation following his loan spell at Boston United. He had played quite poorly when he faced City that season and those performances saw many fans question Schofield and Deehan's decision to sign him from Rangers.

Dany's first season with the Imps was restricted to mainly substitute and reserve team football. Only in the second season did he get regular first team football but even then he was still frustrating. Fantastic one game and then shockingly bad the next. It was a season where you knew that there was so much more that he could offer.

The word that is always used to describe N'Guessan is "potential" but there are few times that he has shown that he can perform to his ability on a regular basis and this ultimately will probably see him fail to find himself back at the same level's he's experienced in the past.
