Impressions Of The Ground
Away fans are housed in the Arthur Wait stand which is shared with home supporters. This old fashioned stand has plastic seating towards the front and wooden seating at the back. There are a number of supporting pillars which can obstruct you view of the pitch. This is a popular ground to visit for Royals supporters with numerous pubs around the stadium to have a drink in before the game. Away fans can generate a fair bit of noise thanks to the low lying roof.
Directions To The Ground Leave the M25 at Junction 7 and follow the signs for the A23 to Croydon. Carry straight over a number of roundabouts until you go through Thornton Heath Train Station. At the next roundabout bare left into Whitehorse Lane and you will see the ground on your right. Click Here for a map

As with most London grounds parking is limited to street parking and traffic can be a problem approaching kick-off. The best method of transport to the stadium is by train. The two closest stations are Selhurst and Thornton Heath. The ground is approximately a five minutes walk from each station.

Pub Guide
There are plenty of pubs located around the ground with a couple of Weatherspoon pubs most suitable for away supporters.
